Ongoing Collection of Supplies for Homeless Vets

The Fourth Principle of the Knights of Columbus is Patriotism.  Our Veterans deserve our help, especially those who have returned from their service and find themselves homeless or in need.   The pandemic makes things worse, as they may be cut off from their friends, family, and resources to help them survive.

That’s where the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans comes in.  It is a non-profit agency that provides housing, supportive services and community outreach to help homeless and at-risk veterans and their families achieve self-sufficiency.

Louis Neri Jr, a member of our council and American Legion Post 1212 of Bartlett, IL got our council involved in collecting donations  and  coordinates the collection of NEW items for MSHV.  Items in red on the wish list are in critical need at this time.

Contact Louis for more information or to donate items (see flyer for contact info).
